Fast X: Cast and Theories

The cast for "Fast X" is jam-packed with several returning cast members and a lot of exciting newcomers, the only cast member that we don't expect to return is Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs. We're going to have a look at where each cast member stand.

Returning cast members:

Here's which returning cast members are confirmed.

Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto

Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz

Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto O'Conner

Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce

Ludacris as Tej Parker

Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey

Sung Kang as Han Lue

Scott Eastwood as Eric Reisner/Little Nobody: Eastwood's return is a big one to us, he was a welcome addition to the team in "The Fate of the Furious" and his interactions with the character was just too good to miss. No word on how big his role is, but we can expect it to be as the character worked with Kurt Russell's Mr. Nobody, who's whereabouts in the franchise remains a big mystery. Hopefully Eastwood gets involved in the action.

Charlize Theron as Cipher

Michael Rooker as Buddy

Cardi B as Leysa

New Cast Members:

Jason Momoa as the main villain: Momoa confirmed that he would be playing a villain, mostly working with Charlize Theron's Cipher and will most likely have a fight scene or two with Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto.

Brie Larson as TBA: We don't know who exactly Larson will be playing but from Diesel recent IG post, we could speculate that she isn't just a random newcomer and could be the sister to Brian O'Conner who was played by the late Paul Walker.

Alan Ritchson as TBA: Another actor in an undisclosed role but we could see him as a villain against Dom and his crew...or maybe he's another Hobbs' type character, hopefully we could get Aquaman vs Aquaman.

Daniela Melchoir as TBA: This one is hard to speculate but we could see her as a new family member, an ally akin to Helen Mirren's Queenie Shaw or possibly as an underling to Momoa's character.

Cast Members Yet-To-Be-Confirmed

Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw: We last saw Deckard at the end of "F9", when was interrogating a Russian thug about a flash drive that contains secret plans, which possibly has something to do with the plot of the upcoming instalment, he then heard a knock on his door and when he opened it, it's Han Lue to his shock, if he's back for the next movie, we could expect some sort of tension between him and Han.

John Cena as Jakob Toretto: The last time we saw Jakob was when Dom gave him the keys to his charger allowing him to escape from the authorities and his enemies, could Momoa be one of his enemies? Cena has publicly expressed interest in returning and joining the family as a full on member.

Anna Sawai as Elle: "F9" introduced us to a new character named Elle, who was the "key" to Project Aries and was being watched over by Han in secret between the events of "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "F9", however Sawai is yet-to-be-confirmed, she was last seen at the family BBQ.

Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody: The current whereabouts of the suave government agent are unknown however with Eastwood's return, that loose end could hopefully be tied up.

Helen Mirren as Queenie Shaw: We saw her get a moment to drive in "F9", and Mirren has openly expressed interest in returning behind the wheel.

Lucas Black as Sean Boswell: We last saw Sean at the family BBQ with the rest of the family, however he is yet to be confirmed to be returning. "F9" gave him a supporting role aiding both Roman and Tej into destroying the satellite in space. Black had signed for three more movies when he returned to the role in "Furious 7", he missed out on "The Fate of the Furious" due to being committed to the show "NCIS: New Orleans", in which he left in 2019 so he could return to the franchise. Along with Black, we are waiting on confirmation on both Shad Moss' Twinkie and Jason Tobin's Earl.

Luke Evans as Owen Shaw: We last saw Owen in "The Fate of the Furious" when he was infiltrating Cipher's plane with his brother Deckard. However we haven't seen the last of him, we believe that the character's return would be a big one as we would think Han could see Owen being the one responsible for the loss of his lover Gisele (Gal Gadot), we also think that Cipher could have manipulated him once again, giving Deckard the choice to kill his brother or join him.

Fast X: First Look at Brie Larson, could she be playing Brian's sister?

Vin Diesel recently took to his Instagram, posting an image of himself and Brie Larson during filming of "Fast X", the tenth instalment of Universal's fats-moving franchise which reunites it's core cast members with some new players. Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood and Charlize Theron are all returning while newcomers Larson, Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchoir and Alan Ritchson round out the new cast.

The upcoming sequel recently hit a snag when it's director Justin Lin, who directed the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth movies exited the project a week into filming over "creative differences", later to be replaced by "The Incredible Hulk" director Louis Letterier. The script is from Lin and Dan Mazeau and is the first of a two-part closer for the franchise's main narrative story. Character and plot details are being kept under wraps, while it has been confirmed that Momoa is the film's villain alongside Theron's Cipher, Larson's character remains a mystery.

In his Instagram post, which suggests that there is family link, Diesel wrote the following "There are some people you will meet in life.... That will change you, change your family... change the world, FOREVER!", which also suggests that Larson is more than a random newcomer.

It has been speculated that Larson's new character is the sister to Brian O'Conner, who was played by the late Paul Walker in six of the "Fast" movies. No such character has appeared or been hinted in the movies, but it's entirely possible that could be the case. Walker died in a car accident in 2013 and the franchise has worked to keep his memory alive ever since. Walker's character was not killed-off but retired after 2015's "Furious 7", but the character's presence still exists in the franchise after that. His brother Cody Walker helped stand in for him to finish "Furious 7". However it's unclear if he'll be involved in the upcoming tenth instalment.

Fast X: Scott Eastwood returns!

Veteran "Fast & Furious" cast member Scott Eastwood, who made his first appearance in the eighth instalment, "The Fate of the Furious", released in 2017 is set to return in the upcoming tenth instalment "Fast X" alongside returning cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Natahlie Emmanuel, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron with newcomers Jason Momoa, Brie Larson and Alan Ritchson rounding out the cast. Details regarding the plot are being kept under wraps.

Eastwood will reprise his role as Little Nobody, the protégé of Kurt Rusell's Mr. Nobody, who helped Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his team track down the cyberterrorist Cipher (Theron) in the eighth instalment. It is unclear if Russell will return to the series. Eastwood did not appear in "F9", the ninth instalment which made fans wonder what had happened to the character and whether he would make a return. Since then Eastwood has previously been seen in films like "Wrath of Man" which starred franchise veteran Jason Statham and "Dangerous" which co-starred Tyrese Gibson.

Louis Leterrior will be directing the upcoming film following Justin Lin's exit days into production, however Lin will remain as writer and producer for the film, set to be released May 19th, 2023.

Fast X: Alan Ritchson joins the cast

"Fast X", the upcoming tenth instalment seemed to have round out it's all-star cast with Alan Ritchson, the breakout star of Amazon Prime's "Reacher" Tv show. Ritchson joins as the project just set Louis Letterier as the movie's director replacing Justin Lin. The film is in production with returning cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Natahalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron alongside franchise newcomers Jason Momoa and Brie Larson.  Lin will stay on as a producer along with Diesel.

Ritchson seems like a solid casting choice following his breakthrough performance as the titular character in "Reacher" . The series featured impressive set pieces and should fit right in with Diesel, Momoa and potentially John Cena when it comes to eye-popping set pieces.

The film is set for a May 19th, 2023 release.

Fast X: New Director Found!

The search of a new director has ended as Universal has now tapped French directoe Louis Leterrior to direct "Fast X", replacing Justin Lin, who helmed the franchise from 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" to "Fast & Furious 6", and returned to direct "F9" which was released in 2021. Lin had pulled out of directing the project after a week of filming for unknown reasons but had stated he would remain as a producer. Leterrior has made a name for himself in the action genre since making "The Transporter" in 2002 and it's sequel in 2005 both starred franchise veteran Jason Statham. He also directed the well received Jet Li action movie "Unleashed" also released in 2005. Leterrior rise to fame came to the U.S. when he made 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", the second movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it received positive reviews and made over $264.8 million at the box-office. Leterrior then made an array of blockbusters including "Clash of the Titans", released in 2010 and "Now You See Me", released in 2013, both films which did well financially but met with mixed reviews. In 2016 he made the critical dissapointment "Brothers Grimsby".

Outside of films, Leterrior has also enjoyed some success on the small-screen with critical acclaimed shows like "Lupin" in which he directed three episodes, and "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance".

Vin Diesel is set to return for the upcoming sequel along with franchise veterans Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Charlize Theron and Michael Rooker with newcomers Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchoir and Brie Larson joining the cast. The film is still set to be released on May 19th, 2023.

Agent Aimes Undercover Theory

At the end of "Fast X",  it’s revealed that Aimes has been working for Dante the whole time since “Fast Five” and the agency is ...
